During the months of November and December, the South Benton Food Panty receives the least amount of food donations than any other time of the year. To help our community through the holiday months, the City of Monroe, Broadley Vineyards, Umpqua Bank, and the South Benton Food Pantry are teaming up for this third event and accepting commercially processed food (i.e., canned food) at the following locations beginning November 1, 2024 through December 31, 2024:
– Monroe City Hall, 664 Commercial St., Monroe, OR 97456
– Broadley Vineyards, 265 South 5th St., Monroe, OR 97456
– Umpqua Bank, 165 North 5th St., Monroe, OR 97456
– South Benton Food Pantry, 650 Orchard St., Monroe, OR 97456. Note: Please make food donations during normal pantry hours. Follow this link for more info: https://southbentonfoodpantry.org/
In addition to food donations, the South Benton Food Pantry accepts cash donations. The Food Pantry has an account at the Umpqua Bank’s Monroe branch. All you need to do is take your cash donation to the bank and state that you are making a donation for the “South Benton Food Pantry” in the “2777” account.
