Welcome to South Benton County Gleaners, a volunteer-driven membership initiative that makes a significant impact on our local community. Our program is designed to assist low-income families by harvesting and redistributing local food that might otherwise go to waste, directly addressing the issue of hunger.
Wood Share:Part of our Gleaners program, Wood Share focuses on gathering donated firewood to be shared among our Gleaner members who rely on it for heating. We believe in providing holistic support to our community members, ensuring their essential needs are met.
A Circle of Support:An exceptional aspect of our program is the bond between our gleaner volunteers and "adoptees." While gleaner volunteers harvest food and firewood, they can share their bounty with those who may have physical limitations but still require assistance. This spirit of sharing and support creates a tight-knit community that truly cares.
South Benton County Gleaners operates in affiliation with the Linn Benton Food Share's Gleaners program, adhering to their established guidelines and policies. To learn more, please feel free to reach out to us via email at sbcg2020@gmail.com or leave a message at
